The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the results for the Class 9th examinations.
A total of 287,000 students took part in the exams this year.
Zahid Mian, the Lahore board’s examination controller, reports that over 127,000 pupils completed the test with success. But 159,000 students failed the examinations, indicating that many had a difficult year.
The total success percentage for the Class IX tests this year is 44%, which is 6% lower than the outcomes from the previous year. Zahid Mian saw this decline in performance and emphasized that in order to enhance future results, students must devote more of their attention to their academics.

Multan
The Multan board also declared the results of the annual exams for Class 9. The pass rate of 49.48% indicates that the educational institutions performed poorly, according to the data.

Faisalabad
The results of the Class 9 tests were also formally released by the Faisalabad Education Board. The results showed a worrying trend, with over half of the students failing. With 194,249 students taking the examinations in total, the success percentage was 48.05%, meaning that more than half of the students failed the tests.

Rawalpindi
The results of the Class 9 annual examinations for 2024 were formally issued by the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The total success rate of the 125,715 applicants who took the test is 45.84%.
