A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Monday granted pre-arrest bail to PTI social media activist Arooba Komal.
Sardar Masroof Advocate appeared in the court on her behalf. The lawyer told the court that two women have already been granted bail in the same case, Arooba Komal is not even named in the FIR. On this, the court granted post-arrest bail to Komal.
Earlier, she was sent to jail on judicial remand by Duty Judge Mureed Abbas yesterday. The case has been registered against Rauf Hassan, Arooba Komal, and other activists under the PECA Act.
