2 new polio cases reported in the country, the Health Department has confirmed polio cases in Qambar area of Sindh and Mandi Bahauddin in Punjab.
According to the Health Department, the third polio case of this year has been reported in Sindh and the first in Punjab, after which the total number of polio cases in the country this year has reached five.
It should be noted that last year, 74 polio cases were reported in the country, of which 27 cases were reported from Balochistan, 22 from KP and 23 from Sindh.
