The police on Wednesday arrested another suspect involved in murder of Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Tifi Butt, near Muslim Town in Lahore.
Organized Crime Unit in Model Town arrested the suspect.
“Afzal has been identified as another suspect,” said the sources, adding that he was involved in following the victim and was involved in reconnaissance of the crime scene before Javed Butt’s murder.
He fled the scene soon after the incident. The police are also conducting raids to arrest another suspect named Arif, who is believed to be involved in Javed Butt’s killing.
Two days ago, police arrested two suspects, including a shooter involved in the murder of Javed Butt. The shooter, Azhar, was captured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is alleged to have fired at Javed Butt.
