The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain across different parts of the country in coming days.
Rainfall is anticipated in several regions of Punjab and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the meteorological department. Residents of Islamabad have been warned to prepare for a scorching day; respite is anticipated in the form of sporadic rains later in the evening.
Other regions of the nation will likely see oppressive heatwaves with little likelihood of precipitation. Temperatures in Sibbi are expected to be extremely hot, possibly reaching 49 degrees Celsius, while Turbat is expected to be somewhat colder at 48 degrees Celsius.
A spokesman for the Meteorological Department stated that maximum temperatures in Islamabad are predicted to reach 43 degrees Celsius, in Lahore to reach 44 degrees Celsius, and in Karachi to reach a more comfortable 35 degrees Celsius.
Rain showers are expected later today to provide much-needed relief to northeastern Balochistan, central and southern Punjab, and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
