Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned Karachi airport blast which resulted killing of two Chinese officials.
The prime minister expressed deep sorrow over the tragic event, offering condolences to Chinese government. He showed sympathy to the families of the victims and people. He also prayed for the injured person’s quick recovery.
Premier said that the culprits behind this horrible act are enemies of the state. He said that authorities are investigating about the explosion to find the responsibles.
PM wrote on X: “I am deeply shocked and saddened by last night’s tragic incident in Karachi, which led to the loss of two valuable Chinese lives and injured another. I strongly condemn this act and offer my heartfelt condolences to the Chinese leadership and the people of China, especially the victims’ families.”
Sharif assured Pakistan’s commitment to the safety of its Chinese allies. “We will make every effort to guarantee their safety and well-being”he added.
After the Karachi incident security of foreign officials has been enhanced. Authorities have sealed the exit and entry points of the Karachi airport.
President Asif Ali Zardari has also expressed grief over the incident, expressing condolences to the government and people of China.
Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir also condemned Karachi airport blast. He said that the responsibles will be taken into account.
