Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to keep its offices in Islamabad closed for three days.
According to a circular issued by the airline, the closure will take effect from October 14 to 16.
However, PIA employees working in shifts at the airport will continue their duties as usual, ensuring that operations remain unaffected.
In preparation for the SCO Summit, Section 144 has been imposed in Rawalpindi and Islamabad from October 12 to 17.
This restriction prohibits any gatherings or protests, aiming to maintain security during the conference.
In addition, the local administration has closed educational institutions, restaurants, hostels, and cafes in the twin cities to ensure public safety during this period.
