Petrol price in Pakistan from March 16
The petrol price in Pakistan remains the same for the next fortnight, as announced by the government of Pakistan.
However, the diesel price has been cut by Rs1.77 per litre.
New Petrol and Diesel prices in Pakistan
Presently, the price of petrol per litre in Pakistan stands at Rs279.62 per litre. Whereas, the new price of high speed diesel will be Rs285.56 per litre after a reduction of Rs1.77. Previously, it was 287.33 per litre.

Earlier, reports suggested that the federal government was poised to revise the price of petrol for the latter half of March 2024. A Rs5 per litre cut was anticipated.
The decrease in petroleum prices coincides with a downturn observed in the international market, evidenced by a 0.4% drop in Brent crude futures, settling at $81.82 per barrel.
The decision on petroleum prices greatly impact household budgets and economic activities nationwide.
In the start of this month, the government had increased the price of petrol in Pakistan by Rs4.13 per litre.
