The government announced reductions in prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for next 15 days of June, providing relief to consumers ahead of Eid ul Adha.
The petrol will cost Rs258.16 per liter after a Rs10.20 decrease from its previous price of Rs268.36 per liter. The new rate will be effective immediately,
The HSD prices went low to Rs267.89 per liter, down by Rs2.33 from Rs270.22 per liter.
This move follows a prior reduction of Rs4.74 per liter for petrol and Rs3.86 per liter for HSD announced on June 1. These adjustments have slashed petrol prices by Rs35 per liter in one month.
