Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi hosted a luncheon in honor of those working at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, which was attended by more than 1,500 workers.
Speaking at a news conference, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi thanked the workers for working day and night to complete the work for the upgrade of the stadium and congratulated them.
The workers thanked the PCB Chairman and said that they had been at Gaddafi Stadium for 3 months. I am happy to see the stadium, Mohsin Sahib, your hard work has paid off.
We see you in the stadium morning and evening. Mohsin Naqvi said that this is not just my achievement but the entire team’s. Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the workers in wonderful words.
He said that he hopes that the Pakistani team will win the tri-nation series and the Champions Trophy.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi also invited the workers to watch the match between Pakistan and New Zealand tomorrow.
In the lunch given by Mohsin Naqvi, the workers were provided with a lunch consisting of mutton qurma, chicken roast, beef pulao, and live hot naan.
In addition, the workers were treated with zarda, raita, fresh salad, mineral water, cold drinks, and Kashmiri tea.
The PCB chairman further said that the stadium is complete, let us pray that Allah Almighty will grant Pakistan success, Muhammad Rizwan is a well-intentioned captain, and hopefully, under the leadership of Muhammad Rizwan, we will win the Champions Trophy.
