The three ICC World Test Championship matches between Pakistan and England from October 7–28 have been rescheduled, according to an updated schedule released by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday.
The second Test will now take place in the Multan Cricket Stadium instead of the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, where it was originally scheduled to take place from October 15–19.
The last two Test matches, which are scheduled for October 7–11 in Multan and October 24-28 in Rawalpindi, will take place exactly as scheduled.
The National Bank Stadium is going through substantial renovations in preparation for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will also be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. As a result, the match has been moved from Karachi to Multan.
“PCB is thrilled to welcome the England men’s cricket team back to Pakistan,” stated Usman Wahla, Director of PCB International.
Schedule revision:
- First Test, Multan, October 7–11.
- Second Test, Multan, October 15–19.
- Third Test, Rawalpindi, October 24-28.
