Usman Wazeer of Pakistan beat Thehlak Selvam of India in a minute and five seconds during the much awaited professional boxing match between the two nations.
The six-round fight had hardly progressed past the first few seconds of action when Wazeer floored the Indian fighter with a strong blow.
Thehlak Selvam was hit hard by the Pakistani fighter once again while he was still recovering, and this time he was unable to continue.
The referee halted the bout after observing that the Indian boxer was unable to respond, and Usman Wazeer was declared the winner on technical grounds.
Usman Wazeer has now triumphed in professional boxing 14 times in a row, enhancing his standing as one of the sport’s emerging stars.
He has earned honors for Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan by winning prominent championships including the World Youth Title, Asian Title, and Middle East Title.
