After TikTok sensation Manahil Malik labeled her controversial viral video as “fake,” actress Mishi Khan has come forward, alleging that the influencer may have been inspired by the Bollywood film featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, suggesting that Manahil leaked the video herself.
In a recent Instagram video, Mishi criticized the TikToker for resorting to such extreme measures to gain fame, although she refrained from directly naming Manahil. Her remarks followed the trending of Manahil’s name on social media platform X.
In her post, Mishi expressed her dismay, stating, “It’s disgraceful to witness influencers resorting to such lows for attention, tarnishing their families, parents, and society. They should be prohibited from social media.”
The actress voiced her disappointment over the explicit content associated with the TikToker and mentioned a moment from the leaked video where Manahil allegedly says, “If you go anywhere else, I will make it go viral.”
Mishi speculated that Manahil’s actions might be reminiscent of the plot from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film Heroine, where the protagonist intentionally leaks an explicit video to attract attention for her upcoming project.
Addressing Manahil’s claim that the video was a deepfake, Mishi questioned, “Why would anyone invest in creating a deepfake?” She pointed out that Manahil can be heard discussing her intention to make the video viral.
Disturbed by the circulation of the video, Mishi urged TikTok creators to think about their families and communities. “You have an audience that looks up to you, so it’s time to stop endorsing such behavior. Our society is grappling with moral decline; promote positive actions instead,” she stated.
The leaked video of Manahil Malik has garnered significant attention online, reportedly featuring her and her boyfriend, with many social media users criticizing her for leveraging the situation for fame.
