The Green Shirts will play three Twenty20 Internationals, three One-Day Internationals, and two Tests in South Africa in December, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Friday.
The T20Is are scheduled to take place in Durban, Centurion, and Johannesburg from December 10–14. The two ICC World Test Championship 2023–25 matches will take place in Centurion and Cape Town, from December 26 to 30 and from January 3 to 7, respectively; the ODIs will be played between December 17 and 22 in Paarl, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, the cricket body said in a press release.
The national team will travel to Durban on December 2 following their November 19 return from Australia, where they participated in three ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals from November 4 and November 18.
Pakistan will play two Test matches against Bangladesh and three Test matches against England before their separate tours of Australia and South Africa.
This indicates that over the six-month period from August 2024 to January 2025, they would play seven Tests, a minimum of ten ODIs, and six T20Is, the PCB stated, providing information regarding Pakistan’s hectic itinerary for the second half of 2024.
