Pakistan Railways as announced that it will operate four special trains on occasion of Eid-ul-Fitar.
Newly appointed minister for railways Hanif Abbasi has made this announcement during a press conference in Islamabad, on Monday.
‘Pakistan Railways will operate special trains to facilitate passengers.’ The minister also said that 20% special discount will be given to the passengers travelling on Eid.
Railways has yet to announce the schedule for special train, but it is likely that three trains will operate between Karachi and Peshawar and one train will play between Quetta and Karachi.
Millions of commuters travel from mega cities to their hometown on occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.
The public utility runs additional trains to cater the rush of travelers. Transporters raise fairs on Eid, taking benefit of massive rush on Eid.
A large number of passengers prefer travelling through trains along with their families and kids to avoid rushy buses.
Hanif Abbasi has recently been included in Prime Minster cabinet, the controversial MNA who is said to be elected on form 47, from a Rawalpindi constituency.
He is a hard critic of PTI jailed leader and former Prime Minster Imran Khan. Abbasi dubbed Imran Kahn as Zionist agent. Abbasi also came in limelight due to controversial Ephedrine case. For this case he was granted life imprisonment, but the court dismissed the case for not finding any proof against him.
