In a combined effort, the Pakistan Navy and law enforcement agencies recently conducted a successful operation, resulting in the confiscation of alcohol valued at over 14 crores rupees.
According to the Navy’s Directorate General Public Relations, on March 21st, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), and Pakistan Customs Intelligence worked together in the Northern Arabian Sea with support from the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Center.
During the operation, authorities seized 4104 bottles of alcohol, totaling an estimated value of approximately 14 crore 56 lakh rupees. The confiscated items were handed over to Pakistan Customs for further legal procedures.
Amid concerns about criminal activities tarnishing Pakistan’s reputation, this joint operation by the Pakistan Navy, PMSA, and Pakistan Customs underscores their commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime and land borders.
The Directorate General Public Relations stressed that Pakistan Navy and PMSA remain dedicated to their national duties of maintaining peace and security at sea, in line with their obligations to the nation.
