As Champions Trophy is about to kick off on Wednesday in Karachi, Bangladesh faced Pakistan Shaheen in their single practice match at Dubai cricket stadium.
The match served as final test before their campaign in the event. Pakistan Shaheen defeated Bangladesh team easily by 7 wickets.
Bangladesh Captain winning the toss, elected to bat first. This decision gave the team a chance to alter their batting order before the game starts.
Pakistan Shaheen featured a mix of young lads and experienced players. It was led by Mohammed Haris.
While batting first Bangladesh lost their early two wickets. Opener Tanzid Hassan made 6 runs while captain Shanto gone after scoring 12 runs. Initial blow was handled by Soumya sarkar and Mehdy Hassan Miraz.
Soumya dismissed after scoring 35 runs. However, towhid and Mehdi set another partnership.
Bangladesh was at 104 after the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Then Usama Mir was given the attack, he picked up all the set batters.
Mehdy gone after 44 and Towhid after scoring 19. Mushfiqur Rahim and Jacket Ali also failed.
Bangladesh was at 140/7 after 30 overs, however later crossed the 200 run mark. Both tanzim and Rishad Hossain made 34 run partnership.
Tanzim scored 30 runs. Bangladesh team scumbled for 202 runs in 38.2 overs. Usama Mir showed great bowling performance taking four wickets haul.
In response, Pakistan tackling the initial blow as they scored 87 runs after 20 runs and lost three wickets.
In time , pakistan easily achieve the target with the loss of just three wickets.
