It has been revealed that every 25th citizen in Pakistan is a victim of Hepatitis C, according to the report, 4.05 percent of the total population is suffering from this disease.
According to the Localized Hepatitis Elimination and Prevention Program report, Hepatitis C is spreading in Pakistan.

According to the report, 47,728 people were screened in 10,347 homes in the anti-hepatitis campaign in 7 union councils of Rawalpindi.
During this, more than 2,048 men and women were confirmed to have hepatitis C and B, while 22 people were confirmed to be infected with hepatitis B and C simultaneously.
The reports revealed that the number of pregnant women suffering from hepatitis was 8, and PCR tests were conducted on all patients suffering from hepatitis.
As reported, more than 2048 people are victims in Rawalpindi, this rate among people suffering from various diseases is 46.92 percent.
