The Pakistan Army successfully carried out the Fatah-II Guided Rocket System training launch on Wednesday, adding a significant weapon to its arsenal, according to a statement from the military’s media arm.
With a 400-kilometer range, the rocket system has a cutting-edge navigation system, a distinct trajectory, and maneuverable characteristics. “Engaging targets with high precision and defeating any missile defense system” is what the missile can do.
The goal of today’s launch, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), was to refine the launch protocols and rehearsals.
Pakistan’s artillery divisions are integrating Fatah-II for precise, stand-off combat against deep targets. The ISPR stated that the rocket system will greatly increase the reach and lethality of the Pakistan Army’s conventional weapons.
The chief of staff of the Pakistan Army, top leaders from all three services, as well as committed scientists and engineers, saw the rocket system’s launch.
Participating troops and scientists were congratulated on this outstanding achievement by the President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Army Staff, and All Services Chiefs, the ISPR said.
