This is a must win game for Mohammad Rizwan led Pakistan, as losing it can cost series for the visiting team. Zimbabwe on the other hand has an opportunity to defeat former world champions in first evet series win.
Zimbabwe has only triumphed six times, while two games have resulted in a draw. Zimbabwe was able to tie two series in 1994/95 and 2013, although the green shirts have also played better in bilateral series, winning 19 of 21 ODIs.
The two teams’ recent performances were different going into the series.
