Pakistan cricket team scored 556 runs against England on the second day of the ongoing test match in Multan cricket stadium. Pakistan’s batting lineup performed a solid performance. Abdullah Shafique and Captain Shan Masood scored impressive centuries.
Shafique scored 102 runs, including 10 fours and 2 sixes, while Masood contributed 151 runs, including 13 fours and 2 sixes.
Babar Azam scored 30 runs and got bowled out by Chris Woakes. Saud Shakeel also played a crucial role, scoring 82 runs. Naseem Shah, Mohammad Rizwan, and Salman Ali Agha made useful contributions down the order.
Whereas Aamir Jamal, Shaheen Afridi, and Abrar Ahmed, collectively scored 36 runs.
England cricket team’s bowler also played well. Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, and Brydon Carse contributed 5 wickets. Shoaib Bashir contributed with one wicket, while Jack Leach, the team’s spinner, bowled an extended spell and took three wickets. Captain Joe Root also added a wicket to the tally. Overall, the England bowlers performed effectively to limit the opposition’s scoring.
