The Pakistan Cricket Board announced playing XI for 1st Test against Bangladesh which would be lead by captain Shan Masood.
The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will begin on August 21 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Masood will be supported in the batting order by Abdullah Shafique, Saud Shakeel, and the very successful Babar Azam.
Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the team’s fast bowling battery, while Naseem Shah, Mohammad Ali, and young talent Khurram Shahzad complete out the pace unit.
Muhammad Rizwan, a wicketkeeper-batsman, has also been picked, while Salman Agha, an all-rounder, will be the lone spinner.
It should be mentioned that Jason Gillespie will be coaching the Pakistan cricket team for the first time.
The all-rounder Aamer Jamal had been dropped from the team due to his ongoing back ailment recovery.
