Pakistani overseas citizens have set a record for sending dollars back home to Pakistan. The overseas Pakistanis sent double the amount of dollars in 5 months from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal, while the State Bank has released remittance figures.

The State Bank has released remittance figures, according to which remittances of 2.91 billion dollars were received in November this year, a record remittance was received in 5 months of the current fiscal year.
The State Bank says that a record $14.76 billion in remittances were received from July to November.
Last month, Saudi Arabia (KSA) topped the list with $730 million, while $620 million was received from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and $410 million from the United Kingdom (UK).
Analysts say that increasing remittances will lead to a current account surplus and a stable rupee.
On the other hand, the updated rate of the United States US Dollar in Pakistan is PKR 277.90 on 10 December 2024. The State Bank rate, also called the interbank rate is PKR 277.90.
The US dollar rate in Pakistan today’s open market is PKR 277.50 in Pakistan’s trading money market.
