ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of liquefied natural gas (LNG) through a recent notification.

According to the notification issued by OGRA, the prices of LNG have been increased by up to 2.58%. For consumers served by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the price of LNG has gone up by 32 cents per unit, reaching $12.81 per unit for Sui Northern.
Similarly, for consumers of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the price of LNG has been raised by 9 cents per unit. Following this adjustment, the new price of LNG for Sui Southern stands at $13.05 per unit.
This increase in LNG prices may affect consumers and industries relying on natural gas. It is expected to impact various sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, power generation, and domestic use.
