Former prime minister Imran Khan has reiterated he is not seeking NRO like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari.
As an Islamabad accountability court on Monday one again postponed the verdict, Khan demanded quick verdict on al-Qadir case.
He said the case (£190 million Al-Qadir Trust corruption reference) against him is bogus and politically motivated. They would get nothing from it like Iddat case and Cipher case, he said indirectly quoting establishment.
Bushra Bibi not involved in deal
He e ruled out any involvement of her wife Bushra Bibi in background contacts with the establishment or government.
“I am not seeking any NRO,” he said while talking to reporters in Adiala jail. Khan maintained that only his nominated committee is holding talks with the government.
The PTI founding chairman believed there is worst kind of martial law in the country. He said he is witness to all four martial laws in Pakistan. He said he saw military dictators Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, Ziaul Haq and Pervez Mushraff governments. Zia and Yahya periods were worst from all and today the country is experiencing General Yahya Khan like time, Khan added.
The prime minister is helpless as he came to power with rigged mandate, said the PTI founder. Khan added that judiciary is under control and there is curb on freedom of speech. He said TVs are not allowed to run the name of the founding chairman of the country’s biggest political party.
Contrary to the government claims, he said the economy is not improving and inflation is rising with everyday passing, making it impossible for a common man to meet the ends.
