A student of Nishtar Medical University (NMU) in Multan was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted by two men, one of whom is reportedly an employee of the institution.
Initial investigations revealed that the suspects took the victim to an undisclosed location before committing the crime.
Regional Police Officer Sohail Chaudhry stated that police acted swiftly, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
A senior doctor at NMU mentioned that the victim is deeply traumatized and added that faculty members urged the administration to report the incident to the authorities.
Multan Cantonment SP Tahir Majeed confirmed that a medical examination and DNA testing are being pursued to aid the investigation.
