Earlies in January, the Punjab Communication and Work (C&W) department decided to change the toll plaza rates for 100%.
Punjab’s toll plaza prices are soaring, leaving commuters, companies, and the agriculture industry to bear the financial consequences.
The action begs the issue of how the government intends to relieve residents’ financial responsibilities, particularly in light of the current state of economic uncertainty. The effect that these toll increases are having on people’s day-to-day life is still a reason for concern as new budget approaches near.
