Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan slammed Israel’s ground operation in Lebanon on Tuesday and asked the United Nations along with other international organizations to put an end to it without “losing any more moment”.
At the start of the new legislative year, Erdogan assured the Turkish parliament that Israel will eventually be stopped, no matter what it does.
He went on, “Israel must stop immediately, along with all other states and international organizations, particularly the United Nations.”
Following a week of heavy airstrikes that claimed hundreds of lives, the Israeli army declared on Tuesday that it has escalated the battle by launching a ground invasion in Lebanon and that its men were involved in fighting.
Erdogan declared that “the terror and slaughter” that Israel had committed in Gaza had spread to Lebanon and threatened to target Turkiye if the situation did not improve.
Erdogan remarked, once more drawing comparisons between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Adolf Hitler of Nazi Germany, “I publicly say that the Israeli administration, acting with the insanity of the promised land and with a completely religious zeal, will set their sights on our ancestral land after Palestine and Lebanon.”
He declared that Netanyahu will be defeated in the same way as Hitler, who was halted after seeing himself in a huge mirror.
