National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an alert for cyclonic storm in Arabian Sea that would possibly hit Pakistan.
According to NDMA this storm could affect Pakistan’s coastal areas in the third week of October.
NDMA reported that the storm is currently located near the Lakshadweep Valley in India.
Weather forecasts predicted that this system could intensify into a coastal storm. This storm will move northwest, and then to Pakistan’s coastline within the next two weeks.
NDMA has advised residents of coastal areas to stay vigilant. Department have also advised emergency services to be on high alert.
