India’s host politician and cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has came forward to defend Babar Azam, Pakistani batsman, who has failed to deliver a good performance since a while now.
Babar Azam, who once was known as king and greatest of all time, has now been criticized heavily by even his die-hard fans as he is not performing at all and has lost his competency as well.
He has failed to show his mettle or performance in any of the formats of cricket in the last two years now.
But the criticism has touched the sky after his ICP Championship performance.
Many videos have gone viral in which people are calling him out for taking advertisements but not being able to perform on the ground.
However, Navjot Singh Sidhu, while defending Babar, said that even Virat Kohli failed and this can happen to any player, it’s not only Babar. He also requested Babar fans to respect Babar Azam in the difficult times as he is a star after all.
And Pakistani fans responded to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s endorsement saying that he never played a match winning inning and only played for his own records.
