Actress Nargis has decided to forgive her husband, Majid Bashir, a police inspector, who was accused of domestic violence.
A lawyer representing Nargis has announced that Nargis is intended to withdraw the charges of domestic violence against her husband. He added that she has also submitted a settlement agreement in the court.
During the hearing of Bashir’s pre-arrest bail petition, an additional district and sessions judge was informed about the mutual understanding reached between Nargis and accused Bashir.
Nargis lawyer has disclosed that the settlement was made with the approval of both families’ elders and mutual friends. After negotiation the actress chose to forgive her husband and agreed for settlement.
After reconciling with his wife, Majid Bashir requested the court to allow him to withdraw his bail application. The judge granted the request and dismissed the petition based on the withdrawal.
Previously, the actress had filed a case against her husband for domestic violence and threats to her life at the Defence C police station. The case includes charges of torture and threats of killing at gunpoint.
After filing a case Nargis underwent a medical examination, which proved that the actress was tortured, and various marks were found on Nargis’s face, neck, and back.
