Renowned Indian celebrity Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya Fakhri has been arrested for murdering her ex-boyfriend, Edward Jacobs, and his female companion, Anastasia Star Etienne, in a fire in Queens, New York.
Nargis Fakhri and her family have recently made headlines due to allegations against her sister, Aliya, who is accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend.
As per early reports, Aliya, 43, allegedly set fire to a two-story building, causing the deaths of Jacobs and his friend Etienne.
According to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz Aliya Fakhri showed up at the detached garage early in the morning, declaring, “You’re all going to die today,” before setting it on fire. Jacobs, who was asleep in the apartment above the garage, was trapped when the fire erupted. Ettienne attempted to save him but was overcome by the flames. Both victims sadly lost their lives due to smoke inhalation and burn injuries.
Nargis Fakhri has not yet commented on this tragic incident. But Aliya’s mother has come forward in favor of her daughter. “I don’t believe she could kill someone. Aliya has always been someone who cared deeply for others and tried to help everyone,” she stated.
On the other hand, Edward Jacobs’ mother revealed that her son and Aliya was in relationship but the they broke up a year ago.
She also said that Aliya did not spare her son and continue to pursue him. Jacobs’ mother clarified that Jacobs and Etienne were not in relationship but were good friends.
