Thrilling details have come to light in the Mustafa Amir murder case, where the accused Armaghan revealed in his statement to the investigation team that he killed Mustafa in filmy style.
According to police sources, the accused revealed that Mustafa was tossed three times before being killed.
Mustafa was injured after being hit with the rod for the first time and was trying to run away when Armaghan stopped him and said that the toss would take place, if heads come, I will let him go and if tails come, I will kill you.
According to investigation sources, the accused tossed the coin, it came up heads, and he hit Mustafa on the head with the rod a second time.
After that, the accused asked for the toss again, tossed the coin, and when it came up heads, he hit Mustafa again.
According to police sources, the accused Armaghan took Hub Doreji and tossed it a third time.
This time, he said that if heads came up, he would not burn it. However, when the accused allegedly got the result he wanted in the toss, he set Mustafa on fire and said that ‘the order to kill you is from nature.’
During the investigation, it was revealed that modern weapons and evidence of an online scheme were found.
SSP Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) Anil Haider Minhas has recommended sending the case to the FIA for investigation on both these points.
According to police sources, the presence of modern weapons has been identified in the case, while evidence of an online scheme has also come to light, which requires further investigation.
The SSPA VCC has recommended that the case be handed over to the FIA for investigation in the context of terror financing and hawala hundi.
In this regard, the DIG Investigation will inform the IG Sindh after investigating the matter, after which further legal action will be taken.
