Former popular Pakistani actress and host Mishi Khan expressed her anger over a viral video of Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024.
A short video of Arshad Nadeem is circulating on social media, in which he is seen ignoring a local reporter from Mian Channu. In the video, the reporter asks, “How do you feel after becoming a champion?” Arshad Nadeem walks away without answering the question, prompting the reporter to follow him with the microphone. The reporter then asks, “Sir! What’s the matter? Why don’t you want to talk? This is a moment of joy.” To this, Arshad Nadeem replies that he is getting late and then walks away.
As soon as the video went viral on social media, the users defended Arshad Nadeem, stating that journalists and the media should respect everyone’s privacy.
On the other hand, actress Mishi Khan reacted to the viral video, saying that money and fame make people arrogant. In a sarcastic tone, she said, “Wow! What arrogance. No doubt you were in a hurry, but you could have at least responded.”
Arshad Nadeem is the national hero who won the gold medal for Pakistan in the javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024 with a throw of 92.97 meters, ending a 40-year drought for Pakistan in the Olympic Games.
Before this, Pakistan last won a medal, a bronze, in the hockey event on August 8, 1992, and the last gold medal was also won in hockey in 1984.
