Minahil Malik has broken her silence in her first interview since a controversial video surfaced online, reportedly showing her in an intimate setting.
Reflecting on her journey, Minahil shared that she never originally intended to pursue a media career.
She began making videos casually with a friend in 2019, motivated by her love for acting. “It all started as a hobby, and as people began recognizing me, my family stood by me, encouraging me to follow my passion.”
Minahil has been a TikTok creator for six years now, having built a dedicated following.
When asked to address the public, Minahil said, “People need to remember that everyone has family—mothers, sisters—and people make mistakes. Even religious teachings tell us that safeguarding someone’s secret ensures your own will be protected. Hardships can fall on anyone. I am, after all, just a girl.”
Minahil revealed that this ordeal has placed a heavy strain on her family, particularly affecting her father’s health, which has been a major concern.
She feels she’s shouldering this burden mostly on her own, with only her family standing by her as others she trusted have withdrawn their support.
The controversy initially erupted when a video, allegedly involving Minahil in an intimate moment with an unknown man, began circulating widely online.
This sparked a wave of online criticism, with viewers trolling and harassing her. The footage even made rounds on various YouTube channels, fueling speculation and leading some to question its authenticity or label it as a possible publicity stunt.
Responding to the backlash, Minahil clarified in a public statement that the video is a doctored, edited fabrication.
She confirmed that she has filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to pursue those responsible.
Sharing the emotional toll the situation has taken, Minahil appealed to her supporters for continued solidarity, saying, “Only someone without respect for women could do something like this. My truth and faith are my witnesses, and I need your support now more than ever.”
