Meta has announced that users will soon have the option to link their WhatsApp accounts with Instagram and Facebook.
According to Meta, this update will allow users to access Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp through a single sign-in. Users will be able to share WhatsApp statuses directly on Instagram and Facebook.
This link will not be automatically activated. Users will have the choice of whether they want to connect WhatsApp to the Account Center or not.
If users enable this feature, Meta will use their data to improve and personalize its services, however, WhatsApp chats and calls will continue to be end-to-end encrypted.
Meta further announced that through this link, users will be able to manage Avatars, AI stickers, and other creative features in one place.
Meta introduced the Account Center in 2020, which is a central hub for managing accounts across platforms. It aims to provide users with a better and more integrated experience.
To connect WhatsApp to Acthe count Center, update the app to the latest version and select the Account Center option in Settings.
If this option is not available, it is possible that the feature has not yet been enabled in your country.
Meta’s move aims to make its platforms more integrated and user-friendly, which will make using social media easier and more effective.
