Met office forecast rainfall with lightning in Karachi during next two days-on Saturday and Sunday.
Pakistan Metrological Department noted 19 degrees centigrade and 29 degrees centigrade as the lowest and highest temperatures in the port city during the last 24 hours. The humidity level was 65 per cent.
It also predicts rain and cloudy weather in districts of Balochistan. Rains will fall in Lasbela, Kalat, Awaran, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Qila Saifullah and other districts of Balochistan, according to the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
Kohlu, Barkhan, Sibi, and Naseerabad are likely to witness thunderstorms, heavy rains and floods during the next 24 hours, predicts the Met Office.
It said some parts of upper Punjab, Kashmir, northern areas and KP will witness light rains, snowfall and clouds in the next 24 hours. According to the Met Department, fog will appear in southern Punjab and upper Sindh belts.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan army has engaged in the rescue of visitors stranded in snowfall in Muree.
Local media reports said army personnel led rescue operations to evacuate tourists from Murree on Thursday. The snowfall also affected traffic flow in the areas.
