The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast light rain in some parts of Karachi but major areas to remain hot and humid.
Met office also predicted thunderstorms in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. It said the other areas of Pakistan will remain under the grip of hot and humid weather.
At 1pm on Tuesday, the weather of Karachi was mostly cloudy with 33 centigrade as an average temperature.
Meanwhile, the weather becomes bit pleasant in Islamabad and Rawalpindi because of recent rains. The other major cities are under the grip of sizzling heat. The highest temperature was noted in Sibi where it touched 48 degree centigrade.
