Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat stars as the femme fatale in Yo Yo Honey Singh’s latest music video, Jatt Mekhma, which has taken the internet by storm. Released on Friday, the video quickly gained over 1.1 million views in just a few hours.
In the visual, Hayat draws inspiration from classic mobster aesthetics, embodying a glamorous Audrey Hepburn-like figure with her chic black outfit, pearls, and updo. Singh complements her look in a dapper pinstriped suit paired with a fur coat, creating a noir-inspired vibe.
The video, directed and written by Singh, features a lavish scene with both stars arriving at a grand mansion, surrounded by fellow mobster-themed actors.
This collaboration was first teased in October through a joint video posted by Hayat and Singh, hinting at something exclusive. Jatt Mekhma is the second single from Singh’s new album Glory, which also features Pakistani artists Wahab Bugti and Sahiban.
