Known singer and Barabri Party Pakistan chairman Jawad Ahmad wife’s Mehreen Jawad Makeup Studio and Saloon has allegedly found involved in power theft.
As per a news report appeared in City42 , Lesco team has caught power theft in the studio situated in Lahore’s famous residential area Johar Town.
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) officials , story quoted, found one phase of electric meter dead when they raided the studio on information of power theft.
“They [studio] were getting direct power supply,” as per the report.
The Lesco anti-theft team took the meter into its custody but Jawad and his wife reached at spot on black Vigo. They clashed with the Lesco team, snatched the meter and ran away from the spot. A video regarding the verbal clash is also circulating on social media.
The Lesco team has filed the written complaint with the Nawab Town police station regarding the power theft. The Lesco said it would restore the electric supply after completion of the legal process.
Jawad Ahmad is known for his criticism on PTI founder chairman Imran Khan. Founded in 2017, his political party has so far failed to get any attraction from the masses. Barabri Party based on the idea of socialism and equality.
His latest statement about PTI founder chairman went viral on social media. He made claim during an interview that only he could compete Imran Khan popularity in Pakistan.
