The original ensemble of the USA Network show may rejoin for a future film, according to Meghan Markle’s co-star on Suits, Patrick J. Adams.
Aaron Korsh, the showrunner, is amenable to the notion, Adams said, possibly enabling Meghan Markle’s character Rachel Zane to make a comeback. Trying to bring the band back together is something that [Korsh] is certainly interested in doing, according to Adams, who made this statement during the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas. It’s feasible, he said, even if a lot of variables would dictate whether it occurred.
After getting to know Prince Harry, Markle left the television series Suits after seven seasons as a star. She is not anticipated to return for the next spin-off, Suits: LA, but if the original ensemble gets back together for a farewell, she could change her mind.
Adams was accompanied at the event by Dulé Hill, Sarah Rafferty, Amanda Schull, and Abigail Spencer, all former Suits cast members. Hill said he would love to work on another project and that he would be interested in coming back for a big picture.
In addition, Adams is re-entering the Suits world as co-host of a watch-along podcast on SiriusXM alongside Sarah Rafferty. Even though Suits: LA moves the action to the West Coast and stars Stephen Amell as former New York prosecutor Ted Black, there’s still a potential that well-known actors may make brief cameos.
