Former captain of the Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam is honored to keep his bat in the Legendary Hall of Cricket Legends at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
According to the reports, Babar Azam’s cricket bat will be kept in Australia’s long room along with bats of the legendary players.
Melbourne Cricket Ground officials asked Babar Azam to donate a bat for the long room. Babar Azam donated his bat which he used in 2022’s T20 World Cup final.
As reported by MCG officials, Babar Azam’s bat will be kept in the legendary long room of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
In this regard, Babar Azam has expressed his happiness through a post on his social media accounts. Babar added, “It’s an honor to have my bat among the legends in the long room”.
Previously, Don Bradman, David Bone, Jack Hobbs, and Brian Lara bats were displayed in the MCG long room.
