According to local media news, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat confirmed her dismissal in a notification.Mashal Yousafzai confirmed the news, saying that her recent interview with a private news station was the reason for her dismissal.
Mashal Yousafzai disclosed in the interview the reasons for Bushra Bibi’s choice to travel to D-Chowk for the PTI demonstration on November 24.
She explained that they didn’t communicate for two days after Bushra Bibi returned from the rally because of a stampede.
Mashal Yousafzai said that Bushra Bibi made frequent references to her husband, Imran Khan, ordering the march to D-Chowk during the demonstration.
She also verified that Bushra Bibi’s sight was significantly reduced due to chemical damage to her car’s glass.
They changed her route to Mansehra in spite of recommendations to switch cars and proceed to the protest location. Having been on the ground, I can attest that Maryam Watoo, Bushra Bibi’s sister, was not with her,” Mashal Yousafzai continued.
In April of this year, Mishal Yousafzai was charged with violating the austerity policies of the K-P administration by asking the Department of Social Welfare, Women Development, and Zakat to buy a car for her and the secretary.
