Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, challenged her political rivals in Sialkot to produce proof of their allegations against her.
She said her political opponents could not prove the accusations they levelled against her five years ago.

Whereas, Maryam Nawaz added that for five years she has been accusing but her opponents could not produce evidence.
Speaking at a Government College Women University scholarship distribution ceremony, she stressed the government’s commitment to equity.
Student Welfare
The Honhaar Scholarship Program, supporting gifted children, hosted the event.
According to Maryam Nawaz, it is Pakistan’s largest scholarship program and is handed out strictly on merit.
She appreciated the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients and extended her congratulations.
In the scholarship giving ceremony at Government College Women University, she highlighted the fact that the government believes in equity.
The Honhaar Scholarship Program basically helps the talented kids. It is the biggest scholarship program in Pakistan and is provided purely on the basis of merit, Maryam Nawaz has said.
She wished and thanked the scholars who received the scholarships for their hard work.
She unveiled new initiatives that will give free electric bikes and laptops to 100,000 children.
These measures are aimed at empowering the youth and enhancing their productivity.
Refusing to adopt violent political tactics, Maryam Nawaz asserted that her government would not put hostility before service.
Welfare and Development
Underlining welfare and development, she said that constructive government was important.
Moreover, the chief minister highlighted some positive economic indicators, including the progress in several industries.
She said that improving stock market performance, falling inflation, and increasing remittances are some of the signs of success.
Maryam Nawaz urged cooperation and communication while restating her support for nonviolent, goal-oriented politics.
