Currently Mariyam is facing backlash for sharing bold photos and a reel highlighting her baby bump. During her visit to London with her husband, Amaan Ahmed, Nafees showcased her pregnancy journey openly on social media, which ignited criticism from her fans.

However, Nafees has chosen not to remain silent and boldly responded to the trolling. Mariyam took to Instagram and criticized the hypocrisy of those targeting her. She suggested that such people unfollow her if her content made them uncomfortable.
“Pakistani awaam acting outraged at seeing a baby bump, as if they fell from the heavens like they were told as kids,” she wrote.
“If you’re offended by a bump, feel free to unfollow and move on. I’ll be sharing a lot of it! I’m proud and amazed by what my/our body can do, and I refuse to hide it.”
Although Nafees has responded these remarks, fans continue to condemn her, accusing her of crossing societal boundaries.
