The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has declared 1933 feeders out of total 2221 as load shedding free. The company has issued new categories of its feeders based on load management plan.
It included those feeders which have 10 percent line losses in category one. The feeders which have 10 to 20 percent line losses fall in category two. While feeders with line losses 20 to 30 percent and 30 to 40 percent fall in categories of three and four respectively.
The Lesco spokesperson says the company would not conduct any load shedding on feeders falling under categories one and two. And their total number touched 1933.
The company would conduct three hours load shedding on 145 feeders of category three. It would conduct four hours load shedding on 83 feeders of category four.
The Lesco put 28 feeders on category five as they bear 40 to 60 percent line losses, 26 feeders on category six as they bear 60 to 80 percent line losses. The Lesco would conduct five and six hours load shedding on feeders falling in category five and six.
The company would conduct seven hours load shedding on six feeders bearing more than 80 percent line losses and they fall under category seven.
The company’s spokesperson says it issued new categories of feeders on the direction of Lesco CEO engineer Shahid Haider. Chief engineer Lesco Operations Abbas Ali has issued the fresh categories of feeders.
