During the ‘CXO Meetup: Transforming Business Strategies’ on Saturday, he addressed a wide range of business-related topics in his speech as the principal guest. The event was co-organized by Google, Co Build Pvt Limited, and Peak Solutions.
Co Build celebrated reaching a major milestone by formally joining Google as a partner in Pakistan. Director General Sajid Latif of the Punjab Information Technology Board, CEOs of Co Build and Peak Solutions, Abdul Wahab, and Mudassar Naeem Chaudhry, among others, spoke at the event.
According to the President of LCCI, just the export of IT is generating significant foreign exchange earnings for the neighboring nation. But regrettably, he added, Pakistan is not reaping the benefits of the IT industry’s potential.
He emphasized the need to evaluate policies that support the IT sector so that it may fulfill its potential and contribute to the country’s economic recovery.
He said that a number of issues prevent the shops from being subject to taxes. According to him, policies need to be revised in order to make conducting business easier and the taxing procedure simpler.
