Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) 2025 will be a major intellectual conference celebrating literature, art, and ideas, across the country.
Slated at the Alhamra Arts Council from February 21 to 23, this 13th LLF will shine a spotlight on more than 150 distinguished academics, historians, writers, poets, artists, and intellectuals from around the world.
Covering history, poetry, cinema, heritage, architecture, and contemporary issues, the festival will present more than sixty lively events across several disciplines, including literature.
LLF will hold literary readings, book launches, exhibitions, and artistic performances as well as discussions.
Starting the festival with a first keynote panel called “Muslimal Enlightened Thought in South Asia” historian Dr. Ayesha Jalal, PhD, and Mary Richardson.
Intellectual traditions and historical narratives will be examined in Alhamra Hall 1 at 2:30 PM on February 21.
By taking cultural events to many sites in Lahore, LLF 2025 will confirm the city’s status as a major intellectual and creative hub well beyond Alhamra.
Drawing attention to the role LLF had in advancing relevant cultural and intellectual discourse, Alhamra chairman Khalid Ahmed.
Executive director Touqeer Haider Kazmi addressed how the festival affected the cultural identity of Lahore.
Many distinguished international figures will join the Lahore Literary Festival 2025 greets.
Mishal Husain, Jessica Bruder, Peter Frankopan, Diana Darke, Peter Frankopan, and Ayesha Jalal.
Also helping will be Yasmeen Hameed and Iftikhar Arif, two Pakistani literary celebrities.
