Lahore, is set to witness a mix of sun and clouds today, with the possibility of intermittent rain showers throughout the day.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature in the city is expected to range between 27°C and 33°C.
Winds are blowing at a speed of 6 km/h, while humidity levels have soared to 95%, creating muggy conditions across the city.
The weather experts predicted that Lahore, along with several other cities in Punjab, will experience sporadic rainfall on Tuesday (today).
The PMD further informed that a new weather system, influenced by western winds, has begun to settle in Punjab. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur in southern parts of the province.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a warning regarding increased water flow in streams and rivers in hilly regions due to the ongoing rains.
However, the PDMA assured that despite the rain, there is no imminent threat of dangerous flooding in the rivers.
