Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been declared a fugitive by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) due to his repeated absences in a vandalism case.
The case, registered at Hasan Abdal police station, has seen Gandapur evade multiple summons.
In Thursday’s proceedings, the court officially proclaimed him a fugitive and issued a public notice to this effect.
The court has directed Gandapur to appear before it on January 21.
The PTI leader, who is entangled in various legal battles following the November 26 protest, faces mounting judicial scrutiny.
Earlier, on December 19, the ATC in Rawalpindi indicted Gandapur, along with former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and 14 others, in a case linked to the attack on GHQ.
The court also noted that six other individuals involved in the case are yet to face charges.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, alongside senior party members Shibli Faraz, Fawad Chaudhry, and Sheikh Rasheed, was present during the hearing.
